Give Your Site a Mobile-friendly Website Test

Interesting development and one more reason to make your website mobile-friendly.  Google is now giving sites a mobile-friendly tag in mobile search results to help users find sites that will be easy to view on their mobile devices like the example you see below.

This change will be rolling out globally over the next few weeks Google says. A page is eligible for the “mobile-friendly” label if it meets the following criteria as detected by Googlebot:
  • Avoids software that is not common on mobile devices, like Flash
  • Uses text that is readable without zooming
  • Sizes content to the screen so users don't have to scroll horizontally or zoom
  • Places links far enough apart so that the correct one can be easily tapped

Is your site meet these criteria?  Give it a test.  If your site doesn't meet the test then give us a call. We have multiple solutions for mobile websites that can make sure you give mobile visitors the ultimate user experience on your website.
